The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA checked in with us today.
Outstanding fishing on today’s 1 day trip! First stop of the morning was a kelp patty for 54 fat Yellowtail (12-20 pounds) and then two stops on the mixed Tuna Fishes (25-50 pounds) the second one lasting for hours. Flylined baits on 25-40 pound were the hot ticket with some fish being taken on the Colt Sniper and sinker rigs as well during very slack conditions due to no wind.
At the end of the day, our Angler’s ended up putting on 54 Bluefin, 26 Yellowfin and 54 Yellowtail in gorgeous weather
